Enjoy an evening of digitally restored film of Dublin and Portarlington from the 1920’s. Following the discovery and restoration of over 20 reels of film from the 1920’s the Lea Castle Conservation Group are proud to present a unique opportunity to see this rare film of a bye gone era on June 6th in the Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise. The film, recorded by George Mathews, features life in Dublin and Portarlington in the early years of the last century and has never been shown in public before.
